Adventures in Culture

To celebrate 10 years of the Geraldine Connor Foundation we are launching Adventures in Culture.

We have one goal in mind - to create opportunities for young people to experience arts and culture that interests, inspires and challenges them, that they would otherwise not be able to access.

This will allow young people to see, experience and learn about the arts and culture they care about. Everything from visiting the theatre, viewing art exhibitions to taking part in masterclasses. Arts and culture have the power to level the playing field for young people, aid in developing transferable life and work skills, and improve mental health and wellbeing. As we continue to recover from the pandemic, and feel the impact of the cost of living crisis, fair access to arts and culture is more important than ever.

For more evidence on why arts and culture matter to young people, our friends at IVE have produced 10 Reasons Why Arts and Culture Make A Difference to Young People’s Lives
